The World Is On Fire

I didn't expect to live long enough to see the end of the world

World War III

Forest fires destroying everything in their wake

Oceans rising, filled with tears

Nuclear war

Families torn apart

Division around every corner

Are the prophecies true?

We will not be undone by floods again

But as the world burns brighter

And the smoke fills our lungs

I wonder if it would have been better to end it sooner
