Divided.

Brother killing brother.

Because of ideology

And a bit of geography.

We find ourselves once more deeply divided.

But not because of ideology,

But because those in power

Have corrupted their offices,

And have shaped

Our nation into their own

Christian nation.

These people claim to represent the people.

So let me ask the question;

Why do all of their policies

Not represent the majority of the people?

Americans want access to safe reproductive health care,

So our representatives take it away.

Americans want to feel safe,

So our representatives make it easier to harm us.

Americans want to be themselves,

So our representatives punish us for it by limiting their options.

Americans wanted to elect Al Gore in 2000,

But instead we got Bush.

Americans wanted to elect Hilary Clinton in 2016,

But instead we got Fucking Donald Fucking Trump.

Fuck.

How many more times can the will of the people be ignored

Before the reckoning happens?

How many more times will we be stepped on,

And apologize for it.

Policy and law is created by an ever increasing

Christian minority.

The representation, small.

Their impact, massive.

Of the 6; extremely catholic.

I was done with Catholics the day a teacher of mine

Said Barack Obama personally took babies into closets and murdered them.

Something so unbelievably false, peddled for gospel.

As defense of their insane beliefs,

While their creepy children sat in the back.

I argued; as is my nature.

They dug deeper. Doubled down on the lies.

I learned that there is no argument to be had,

When one side sees themselves as God's tools,

And the other side sees facts.

A leaked opinion decision by the Supreme Court

Is out and what everyone said would never happened

Is totally happening.

Go figure.

Taking away the legal protections

Is not going to stop the practice,

It is just going to result in more death.

By back alley dealings,

More crude and potentially dangerous practices.

This happened prior to 1973

And will be resurrected (Christians love resurrections)

Again if this becomes the official stance of the court.

The court has 5 members from presidents Americans did not want.

Aren't facts fun?

But that is exactly what they were picked for.

They all wanted to overturn the decision,

Not out of legality.

But purely for God.

The language used in the opinion,

Is Church doctrine.

Shouted out from every pulpit,

To every congregation.

If he wants to take a historical approach,

Then the fundamental priciple of the Separation of Church and State

Should become painfully obvious.

The United States of America is not a Christian nation.

The United States of America is not a religious nation.

Never has been.

Arguably never should be.

What we see is religious zealots taking power and corrupting it.

Using it to transform the nation to their liking.

It's the ultimate missionary action.

Going somewhere you are not wanted,

And converting everyone to think just like you

To act just like you.

It's your favorite method of control.

Religion is the opiate of the masses.

(Other than actual opiates, cause Americans love those too)

It's seen as something that is beneficial.

People who are religious are seen as good people.

I would argue the opposite.

Brainwashed from birth,

They do not know any different.

Programmed to believe.

Not to think.

America it is time to think.

America it is time for your voices to be heard.

America you deserve a government who looks like you.

America you deserve a government who wants the same things you do.

America you deserve a government who acts on behalf of the will of the people.

America you deserve so much better than these fucking assholes.

Go vote.

Make it happen.

They will try to stop you.

You must persist.

They will try to delegitimize you.

Carry on.

We have the numbers.
