musicals 4.15.20

for someone who likes music

as much as i do

i could give or take

an actual musical

hamilton is so fucking good

but i can't stand the show glee

i enjoy songs from spring awakening

or maybe dear evan hansen

but i think the sound of music

is incredibly overrated

riverdale is a teen murder mystery show

but for some reason

they force a musical episode

into each season

they do not advance the plot

and do not include good songs

or songs i would wanna sing

just songs that make me cringe

other shows are taking note

and adding musical numbers

season after season

they do not go away

who wants these

can they tell me why

i am just one single guy

who enjoys a show

but i can't handle another

musical episode
