its so easy

to be a bad person

it's the easy way

out of hard situations

it's using people

to get what you want

it's making an excuse

when faced with

an unpopular choice

it's never taking ownership

of anything that you do

it takes effort to

be a good person

it is hard to do

the right thing

especially when

you can hurt someone

by being honest with them

i try to be good

but i know that i am bad

it hurts to get treated

the way i treat people

but i never learn

from my own pain

i want to be a good person

i think i am a good person

does that make me a good person

its the thought that counts,

right?
