two enemies

and they came together

as human beings

to celebrate christmas

the day before

they wanted to kill each other

a day later they were ordered

to do just that

like good little soldiers

now we are facing

a new kind of enemy

and we are fighting each other

can't we all

take a break

bury our dead

put our heads together

and find a way to come together

and work this out

or keep killing each other

so we hold onto our power

rig the system

so it looks more legit

like this is what we wanted

more death and destruction

while they line their wallets

and take away your healthcare

and blame other people

when everyone gets sick

and can't get treatment

and getting asked

when they will be able

to bury the dead
